Core Trainee - Emergency Medicine (RVH)

Grayscale Medical is recruiting Core Trainees (CT/F2/IMT/ST/GP level) for multiple Emergency Department locum shifts at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This assignment pays £50/hr assignment rate, covering shifts from September through October 2026.

The RVH Emergency Department is one of Northern Ireland's busiest major trauma centres, handling approximately 90,000 attendances per year. Shifts include a mix of day shifts (08:00-17:00) and evening/night shifts (16:00-00:00). Multiple positions are available across the 2-month period, with approximately 40 individual shifts to fill.

You will manage undifferentiated emergency presentations, perform initial assessment and treatment, request investigations, and make referral decisions. The department operates a see-and-treat model alongside traditional majors and resuscitation areas. Experience in emergency medicine or acute care is desirable.

Requirements: GMC registration with licence to practise, CT/F2/IMT/ST or GP-level training, right to work in the UK, DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and 2 professional references.
