Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Locum Core Trainee evening shift available in the Emergency Department at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This evening shift (16:00–00:00) is part of the Unscheduled Care directorate's ongoing locum requirements to maintain safe staffing across all shift patterns in one of Belfast's busiest acute EDs.
You will provide emergency care during the busy evening and late period as part of the Mater ED team, managing undifferentiated acute presentations including medical emergencies, surgical referrals, trauma, and minor injuries. Late shifts typically see sustained patient volumes through the evening hours.
This position requires a doctor registered with the GMC at Core Trainee level or equivalent, with a valid licence to practise. You must have right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, BLS/ILS certification, safeguarding and infection control training, and professional indemnity insurance. A minimum of two professional references is required.
