Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Locum Core Trainee position available in the Emergency Department at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This day shift (08:00–17:00) offers the opportunity to work in one of Belfast's busiest acute Emergency Departments, managing undifferentiated emergency presentations across medical, surgical, and trauma pathways.
As part of the Mater ED team within the Unscheduled Care directorate, you will provide assessment, investigation, and initial management of patients presenting to the department. The Mater ED handles a high volume of acute medical and surgical emergencies, providing excellent exposure to a broad range of emergency medicine cases including acute medicine, minor injuries, and resuscitation.
This position requires a doctor registered with the GMC at Core Trainee level or equivalent, with a valid licence to practise. You must have right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, BLS/ILS certification, safeguarding and infection control training, and professional indemnity insurance. A minimum of two professional references is required.
