Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Locum Core Trainee night shift available in the Emergency Department at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This night shift (22:00–08:30) is part of the Unscheduled Care directorate's ongoing locum requirements to maintain safe staffing levels in one of Belfast's busiest acute EDs.
You will provide overnight emergency care as part of the Mater ED team, managing undifferentiated acute presentations including medical emergencies, surgical referrals, trauma, and resuscitation cases. Night shifts in the Mater ED offer high-acuity experience with a varied case mix typical of a major urban Emergency Department.
This position requires a doctor registered with the GMC at Core Trainee level or equivalent, with a valid licence to practise. You must have right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, BLS/ILS certification, safeguarding and infection control training, and professional indemnity insurance. A minimum of two professional references is required.
