Anaesthetics locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a locum Specialty Trainee (ST3+) in Anaesthetics for an evening shift at Daisy Hill Hospital, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This shift runs from 18:00 to 20:30 on Wednesday 24th September 2026.
The assignment rate is £50/hr.
You will provide evening anaesthetic cover at Daisy Hill Hospital within the Surgery and Clinical Services directorate. This is a short evening shift providing anaesthetic support for the late surgical list and on-call cover handover period. You will be responsible for managing any emergency anaesthetic cases during this window and ensuring safe handover to the overnight team.
The department covers a broad range of surgical specialties and you should be competent in managing emergency anaesthetic presentations at ST3+ level, including airway management and rapid sequence induction.
