We are recruiting a Specialty Trainee (IMT3+/ST3+) for a locum General Medicine STR shift at the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a Friday evening shift on 31 July 2026, 17:00–21:00, covering the Senior Trainee Registrar (STR) evening rota.
The RVH STR rota provides senior medical cover for the hospital's acute medicine services, including Medical Assessment and General Medicine wards. This is a high-acuity tertiary environment requiring confident, independent decision-making at Registrar level. The RVH is one of Northern Ireland's principal teaching hospitals, offering an active clinical caseload in acute and general medicine.
Candidates must hold IMT3+/ST3+ or equivalent experience, full GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, and AccessNI clearance. Full compliance with the HSC Regional Locum Framework is mandatory before submission.
