General Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £70/hr.
We are seeking a Specialty Trainee (IMT3+/ST3+) for a locum General Medicine evening shift at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital (MIH), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. The shift is on Wednesday 8 July 2026, 17:00–21:30, covering the STR evening rota.
The MIH STR rota provides senior medical cover for acute medicine services at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital, a busy general hospital in North Belfast. Doctors covering this shift will provide senior clinical decision-making for general medicine ward activity in the early evening period. The MIH serves a large urban catchment and maintains an active acute medicine caseload.
Candidates must hold IMT3+/ST3+ grade, full GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date AccessNI clearance, and full compliance with the HSC Regional Locum Framework. Fully compliant files only will be considered.
