General Medicine locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £70/hr.

Locum opportunity for a Specialty Trainee (IMT3+ / ST3+) doctor in General Medicine at Craigavon Area Hospital (CAH), Southern Health and Social Care Trust. Shift-based positions available across May, June, and July 2026 at the contracted NHS rate of £70/hr.

Craigavon Area Hospital is the primary acute site for the Southern Trust, serving the Armagh and Craigavon districts. The medicine team covers acute general medicine on the wards, overnight on-calls, and registrar-level responsibilities. Shifts are listed via TempRe references GC3JY and GCPCK and include overnight on-calls (20:30–09:00), day long shifts (09:00–21:00), and afternoon sessions. Available dates span 15th May through to 19th July 2026, with specific shift dates including 15, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 29 May; 7 June; 2 and 19 July.

Candidates must be IMT3+ or ST3+ equivalent in a medical specialty with demonstrated experience in acute General Medicine. A minimum of 6 months recent NHS medicine experience is required.

Required documentation: Full GMC registration with licence to practise, valid AccessNI clearance, right to work in the UK, professional indemnity insurance, and two current clinical references.
