Grayscale Medical is recruiting on behalf of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust for a Specialty Doctor in Care of the Elderly, based at the Mater Hospital Belfast. This locum doctor position is available immediately and runs until the beginning of August 2026, paying a £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
This Care of the Elderly post at the Mater covers inpatient geriatric medicine with an established multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have appropriate Specialty Doctor or SAS grade experience in Care of the Elderly or General Internal Medicine. The Mater is a busy acute hospital within BHSCT, located in north Belfast, offering locum doctor opportunities with a supportive clinical environment.
This role is part of the locum doctor Belfast demand for specialty-grade cover. Full files must be compliant with the Regional Framework (SS20a) and accompanied by a completed LD1 form accurately completed by the agency before submission.
Requirements: Valid GMC registration with licence to practise, Specialty Doctor or equivalent SAS grade experience in elderly care or general medicine, right to work in the UK, up-to-date AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, two professional references.
