Grayscale Medical is urgently recruiting a Foundation Year 2 / SHO in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for the South West Acute Hospital (SWAH), Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT). This HSC locum position pays £60/hr and runs from 22 June to 6 July 2026.
The South West Acute Hospital serves the south and west of Northern Ireland, providing comprehensive maternity and gynaecological services to a wide regional catchment. The successful SHO will work within the Obs & Gynae team, covering antenatal, postnatal, and gynaecological presentations as part of the clinical rota. The trust operates under the HSE Encompass electronic patient record system, and Encompass training is essential for this role.
Requirements: F2 or SHO-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology; valid GMC registration with licence to practise; HSE Encompass training (essential); AccessNI clearance (required for all locums); right to work in the UK; up-to-date CV and references. Candidates must be able to fulfil the full period 22 June – 6 July 2026 and be willing to relocate to the South West of Northern Ireland.
