Grayscale Medical is recruiting for an SHO / Foundation Year 2 Doctor locum in Cardiology at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, on behalf of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a two-month assignment from 1 June to 4 August 2026, paying a £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
This Cardiology locum jobs Northern Ireland opportunity is based in the acute Cardiology department at the RVH, one of Northern Ireland’s busiest cardiac centres. The successful candidate will join the SHO rota supporting ward rounds, cardiology assessment, ECG interpretation, and on-call responsibilities.
Essential requirements specific to this post: minimum 6 months’ NHS experience, of which at least 4 months must be in Cardiology. Clinical attachments and observerships are not counted as clinical experience for this purpose.
Full compliance documentation is mandatory before submission. Required documentation includes: GMC certificate, AccessNI disclosure, right to work evidence, two recent clinical references (cardiology/general medicine), ALS/ILS certificate, Fit to Work form, Anti-coagulant certificate, Hyponatraemia certificate, Deprivation of Liberty / MCA 2005 training, Infection Control certificate, and Haemovigilance transfusion modules (Safe Transfusion Practice, Blood Components, Consent for Transfusion, RPRB Competency 1 and 4).
