Specialty Trainee - Radiology (Out-of-Hours) - Craigavon Area Hospital

Radiology locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.

Locum Specialty Trainee (ST3+) required for an out-of-hours Radiology shift at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is an evening shift (17:00–21:00) paying £50/hr assignment rate.

The Radiology department at Craigavon Area Hospital requires out-of-hours cover to provide emergency imaging reporting and clinical support. The successful candidate will report urgent CT and plain film studies, liaise with referring clinicians, and escalate complex findings to the on-call consultant. This role requires autonomous cross-sectional reporting capability.

Requirements:

• GMC registration with licence to practise
• ST3+ level training or equivalent experience in Radiology
• Competence in reporting CT and emergency plain films independently
• Right to work in the UK
• Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Minimum 2 professional references
