Paediatrics locum doctor position at Western Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee (ST3+/Registrar) locum doctor for Paediatrics at Altnagelvin Hospital, Londonderry, within the Western Health and Social Care Trust. This covers a mix of long day and night shifts from 27th July to 2nd August 2026 at a £50/hr assignment rate.

The successful candidate will provide registrar-level paediatric cover including acute paediatric admissions, management of inpatients, and participation in the on-call rota. You will work alongside the consultant paediatrician on call and support junior medical staff.
Requirements include valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date AccessNI clearance (mandatory for all NI locums — DBS does not suffice), and a minimum of two recent professional references. ST3+ experience in Paediatrics is essential. Encompass-trained candidates preferred, though training can be provided where no suitable trained candidates are available.
