Obstetrics & Gynaecology locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60–£70/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting an ST5+ level Obstetrics & Gynaecology locum doctor for the Royal Jubilee Maternity Service (RJMS) and Belfast City Hospital (BCH), part of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a full rota assignment starting ASAP for approximately 1 month with potential for extension, at £50/hr assignment rate.
You will work at ST5+ registrar level within the O&G department covering the full rota including days, long shifts, nights, and weekends. The position requires adherence to the department's rota shifts, swaps, and leave processes.
Key requirements from the trust include minimum 6 months UK experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and recent scanning experience. The role involves managing labour ward, gynaecology emergencies, antenatal clinics, and providing senior trainee-level cover across both maternity and gynaecology services.
Additional mandatory training includes: BMJ Hyponatraemia, Right Patient Right Blood online modules (Blood Components and Indications for Use, Safe Transfusion Practice, Consent for Transfusion), and practical competencies in venous sampling for pre-transfusion testing and preparing/administering blood component transfusions.
