Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Core Trainee (SHO-level) locum doctor for the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department at Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry, within the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a short-term locum covering twilight shifts on 4th and 5th August 2026, at a £50/hr assignment rate.
The successful candidate will join the O&G medical team providing obstetric and gynaecological care across labour ward, antenatal, and gynaecology services. Shifts run from 17:00 to 21:15. You will work alongside the registrar and consultant on call, managing admissions, assessments, and supporting emergency presentations during the evening period.
Requirements include valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and a minimum of two professional references. SHO-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology is expected. Encompass training is preferred but not essential for short-term cover.
