Locum Gastroenterology Consultant - South West Acute Hospital, GIM Rota (CH138)

Gastroenterology locum doctor position at Western Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £100–£110/hr assignment rate.

Grayscale Medical is urgently recruiting a Locum Gastroenterology Consultant at South West Acute Hospital (SWAH), Enniskillen, on behalf of Western Health and Social Care Trust (ref: CH138). The post is for a Consultant qualified in Gastroenterology to join the General Internal Medicine (GIM) rota, starting June 2026 for 3 months initially. Pay: £100–£110/hr assignment rate.

The role is based at SWAH and covers GIM rota commitments alongside Gastroenterology specialist responsibilities. The Trust requires a fully qualified Gastroenterologist with CCT, capable of managing acute medical presentations and specialist gastroenterology patients. This is an urgent requirement.

Requirements:

• Consultant grade with CCT in Gastroenterology
• Full GMC registration with valid licence to practise
• Right to work in the UK
• Up-to-date AccessNI/DBS clearance
• Occupational Health clearance
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Fully completed LD1 form and compliant documentation pack per HSC Medical and Dental Regional Framework
