Grayscale Medical is recruiting a locum Middle Grade doctor for the Geriatrics Department at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This locum General Medicine job in Northern Ireland offers a structured Monday–Friday 9am–5pm rota covering the period 5 May to 4 August 2026.

Based within the Geriatrics Department at RVH, this is a 3-month locum assignment in Belfast ideal for IMT3+, ST3+ or equivalent grade doctors with medical experience. The department provides comprehensive geriatric medicine services, and the successful candidate will be expected to be Encompass trained.

The Belfast Health and Social Care Trust requires all locum doctors to meet the Regional Framework Compliancy requirements, including: an updated CV with explanations for any gaps, at least 6 months UK clinical experience, a copy of passport for ID, two references relevant to the specialty and grade, and AccessNI clearance (a DBS check does not suffice for Northern Ireland). Additional requirements include ALS/ILS from an accredited course, a Fit to Work form, and infection control and anti-coagulant certificates.
