We are seeking a Consultant in Elderly Care for a locum placement at Causeway Hospital, part of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.
This is a daytime position running from July 2026 to October 2026, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced geriatrician to provide specialist care for elderly patients in a well-supported acute hospital setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex geriatric presentations, leading ward rounds, supervising junior medical staff, and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings. Experience in comprehensive geriatric assessment, falls management, and delirium care is essential.
Causeway Hospital in Coleraine serves a large catchment area across the Northern Trust and provides a full range of acute medical services including dedicated elderly care wards.
