Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Registrar-grade locum doctor for General Medicine at Altnagelvin Hospital, Western Health and Social Care Trust. This position offers a £50/hr assignment rate for a long day shift on Monday 14th July 2026 (09:00-22:00).
You will provide registrar-level medical cover on the general medicine wards at Altnagelvin Hospital, managing acute admissions, conducting ward rounds, and supporting the medical team. This is a busy acute hospital serving the Derry/Londonderry and wider North West region. Candidates must have HSE Encompass training — CVs without this training will not be accepted.
AccessNI clearance is mandatory for all locums working in the Western Trust. The role requires a doctor at Registrar/ST3+ level or above with valid GMC registration and licence to practise, right to work in the UK, and professional indemnity insurance. Two up-to-date professional references are required.
