General Medicine locum doctor position at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.

Locum Foundation Year 2 doctor required for Acute Internal Medicine at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. Two day shifts available on 3rd and 4th August 2026 (08:00-17:00 each day), at the £50/hr assignment rate.

The role is based on 2 South Medical Ward within the Medicine and Unscheduled Care directorate. The successful candidate will provide FY2-level ward cover, managing acute medical inpatients, reviewing new admissions, performing clinical assessments, requesting and interpreting investigations, and escalating appropriately to senior colleagues.

Craigavon Area Hospital is one of the Southern Trust's principal acute sites, providing a varied and educational clinical environment for junior doctors.

Candidates must be at FY2 level (or equivalent) with valid GMC registration and a licence to practise. Right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of 2 professional references are required.
