Locum Consultant in General Internal Medicine required at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. Multiple day shifts available throughout August 2026 (weekdays and weekends, 08:30-16:30), with 2 candidates required per shift at the £100/hr assignment rate.
The role sits within the Medicine directorate under Unscheduled Care. The successful consultant will provide senior medical cover on the acute medical unit and general medical wards, leading ward rounds, making clinical decisions on complex patients, and supervising junior medical staff. Craigavon Area Hospital is a major acute site serving the Southern Trust area.
Available shifts: 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30, 31 August 2026 (08:30-16:30 each day). Two consultants required per shift.
Candidates must be on the GMC Specialist Register for General Internal Medicine (or equivalent) with a full licence to practise. Right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of 2 professional references are required.
