Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Core Trainee (SHO-level) for overnight on-call ENT locum shifts at Craigavon Area Hospital, part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a £50/hr assignment rate for night cover in the ENT department.
The role involves providing out-of-hours ENT cover across four overnight shifts in August 2026. You will be responsible for managing acute ENT presentations including epistaxis, peritonsillar abscess, foreign bodies, and post-operative complications. The department covers ear, nose, and throat surgical services for the Southern Trust catchment area. Shifts run from 17:00 to 08:30 the following morning, providing emergency cover and supporting the on-call consultant.
Requirements include a minimum of SHO/Core Trainee level experience in ENT or a surgical specialty, valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and professional indemnity insurance. A minimum of 2 professional references are required.
