Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Western Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £60/hr.
The South West Acute Hospital (SWAH) in Enniskillen is seeking Foundation Year 2 / SHO-level locum doctors for Emergency Medicine cover across a series of urgent shifts in July 2026. This requirement comes directly from the Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) Medical Locum Team and is reference SMD110.
Multiple shift patterns are available including day shifts (08:30–18:30, 09:00–19:00, 12:00–22:00) and overnight slots (22:00–06:00) across 6–12 July 2026. Locum doctors able to cover multiple shifts are strongly preferred. Pay rate is £60/hr via Grayscale Medical.
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years post-FY1 experience, including at least 18 months of dedicated Emergency Department experience. CVs must clearly detail the specific Emergency Medicine experience with dates — incomplete applications will not be considered. Encompass (HSC Electronic Patient Record) training is preferred, though training can be arranged for suitable candidates.
AccessNI clearance is required for all locums working within HSC trusts in Northern Ireland. Doctors must be willing to confirm availability for shifts before CV submission and must be able to fulfil the full requirement.
