Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting F2/ST/GP level doctors for multiple locum night and evening shifts across both the Royal Victoria Hospital and Mater Infirmorum Hospital Emergency Departments, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This position offers a competitive assignment rate of £50/hr.
A large number of night shifts (22:00-08:30) and late evening shifts (16:00-00:00/02:00) are available at both sites from 15th July through 6th August 2026. Shifts are available at:
*MIH ED:* Night shifts (22:00-08:30) on multiple dates from 15 Jul to 6 Aug, plus day shifts (08:00-17:00) and afternoon shifts (14:00-22:00).
*RVH ED:* Night shifts (22:00-08:30), late shifts (16:00-00:00/02:00), and day shifts (08:00-17:00) across the same period.
As an F2/ST level doctor in the Emergency Department, you will assess and manage undifferentiated patients presenting to the ED, perform initial investigations and management plans, escalate appropriately to senior colleagues, and manage minor injuries and illnesses independently. Both departments provide supervised training environments with consultant presence throughout.
