Emergency Medicine locum doctor position at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland — £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
Grayscale Medical is recruiting F2/SHO/GP-level locum doctors for the Emergency Departments at the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) and Mater Infirmorum Hospital (MIH) in Belfast, part of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Multiple shifts available from mid-July through early August 2026 at £50/hr assignment rate.
You will work as a Core Trainee (F2/ST/GP level) within busy major Emergency Departments across two sites in the Belfast Trust. The role covers a mix of day shifts (08:00-17:00), evening shifts (14:00-22:00), twilight shifts (16:00-00:00), and night shifts (22:00-08:30).
Duties include initial assessment and management of undifferentiated emergency presentations, minor injuries and illnesses, resuscitation team participation, and discharge/referral decision-making. Both departments see high volumes of acute medical, surgical, and trauma presentations.
Shifts available from 17 July through 6 August 2026 across both RVH ED and MIH ED, with flexible booking for individual shifts.
