Grayscale Medical is recruiting CT, F2, ST and GP-grade doctors for Emergency Medicine locum cover across two sites—Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) and Mater Infirmorum Hospital (MIH) Emergency Departments—within the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. The rate is a £50–£55/hr assignment rate.
A high volume of day, evening and night shifts are available from June through to early August 2026 across both departments. Shifts span 08:00–17:00 (day), 16:00–00:00 (evening), 22:00–08:30 (night), and other patterns. Specific dates at both RVH ED and MIH ED are available across the full period.
This Emergency Medicine locum job in Northern Ireland represents a significant opportunity for experienced ED doctors seeking sustained flexible cover at two busy Belfast hospitals. The Emergency Department sees a high volume and acuity of undifferentiated presentations, including major trauma (RVH is the regional trauma centre).
