Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Consultant Surgeon with a specialist interest in Trauma & Orthopaedics and Paediatrics for the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This locum Consultant position covers a 3-month period from ASAP (May 2026) on contracted trust rates at £112/hr.
The post is based at RVH (Cost Code: A1F020) and requires a Consultant with subspecialty interest in Paediatric Orthopaedics or Trauma & Orthopaedics with paediatric experience. The service will conduct a pre-engagement call with the prospective doctor to discuss the job plan prior to commencing. Encompass (EPR) training is desirable. A minimum of 6 months of recent UK Consultant or equivalent experience is essential.
Candidates must hold full GMC specialist register entry in Trauma & Orthopaedics, a current licence to practise, valid AccessNI/DBS clearance, right to work in the UK, and a fully completed LD1 form with comprehensive compliance file. Professional references must be current. Files must be fully compliant — incomplete files will not be progressed.
