Grayscale Medical is recruiting on behalf of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust for a Consultant locum in the Regional Acquired Brain Injury Unit (RABIU) at Musgrave Park Hospital, Belfast. This is a 10-week assignment with an immediate start, paying a £100–£110/hr assignment rate.
This specialist post covers the Regional Acquired Brain Injury Unit, a unique tertiary-level neurorehabilitation service within Northern Ireland. The successful consultant will provide clinical leadership and day-to-day management for complex acquired brain injury patients undergoing multidisciplinary rehabilitation.
Working pattern options: 5 days per week in RABIU, or Monday and Friday only in RABIU for the next 10 weeks. Immediate start required.
This locum doctor Belfast opportunity is suited to consultants with rehabilitation medicine, neurology, or general medicine backgrounds with relevant ABI experience. Must have at least 6 months’ recent UK Consultant experience. Encompass training is desirable.
Full compliance file required including completed LD1 form, Hyponatraemia certificate, Anti-coagulant training, and Haemovigilance transfusion modules (Blood Components, Safe Transfusion Practice, Consent for Transfusion; RPRB Competencies 1 and 4). Files without a completed LD1 form will not be reviewed.
