Grayscale Medical is recruiting for a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in Psychiatry of Old Age (Community Service) for Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a 10 PA locum post available immediately for an initial 3-month period, within the ACOPS (Acute Care of Older People Service) directorate. The post offers a £100–£110/hr assignment rate.
The successful candidate will be working within the Community Psychiatry of Old Age service at BHSCT, providing specialist psychiatric assessment and management for older adults with mental health needs in the community setting. The role is part of the MH, CAMHS, LD and ACOPS directorate managed by the Medical Workforce team.
Candidates must hold full GMC registration with a valid Licence to Practise, be on the GMC Specialist Register in Old Age Psychiatry or Psychiatry, and hold a valid AccessNI Enhanced Disclosure (not DBS). At least 1 year of UK consultant-level or equivalent experience in Psychiatry of Old Age is required. All files submitted must be fully compliant with the Belfast HSC Trust framework requirements.
